this is the rear end out of the first super stock challenger, the red white and blue one that MPR built.
And news from Mike himself, he says he is working on something "very special".. we will have to wait and see

Anybody know what the specs are on the engine other that is a 5.4 DOHC Supercharged? Is it based on the Navigator or the Shelby? I would really like to build one of these cars the only mystery right now is the engine specs. Ford is supposed to offer everything "over the counter" right?

Yes, every part of this car is available through Ford Racing. Even the complete engine. The block is a standard 5.4L Cast Iron block.

After we left MPR my wife and I took the kids to mikey's bar and grill in downtown Almont for thier 2 1/2 pound flintstone burger and walleye dinner and we were joined by mike pustelny and his wife kathleen and we had a great dinner together. The flintstone burger is about a foot in diameter and an inch and a half thick with home made potato chips... Luke Awdish

Wow Luke! What a day you guys had! A trip to MPR and seeing some of the most anticipated race cars around must have been great but add to that the Flintstone Burger and dinning with Mike? You are truly a lucky man! Thanks for the pics! Jim

Just good to see that all is not gloom and doom and some bad toys are under construction at MPR in michigan of all places might just be some of the only cars being built in michigan can't wait to see them thanks Ford and Mopar for keeping it alive now where's the bowtie boys?

Jim, the burger is an awesome site along with potato wedges and homemade ranch dressing. If you like fish then the walleye dinner is for you almost 2 pounds of fish WOW, and the place was packed. My kids love going to MPR, my boys are 16 and 11 and here is the shocker even my wife had a good time being around race cars!!!. more to come later...Luke Awdish

FordRacer, the crate motor ( blower with blue valve covers ) that I saw had aluminium block NOT cast iron, maybe they offer different engines...Luke
