I will try to make it ,provided i am not at IHRA working a race .Danny jr still may make it with my car .This thread will probably get moved to events section,in case you come back on and it is missing.Coastal Plains is a very nice race track and always hooks. The management is also great .Sound like a good race .

While they do have IHRA logos on their site, they need to change the opening line on their Info Page:
"Coastal Plains remains an NHRA sanctioned facility still to this day."

DW, if this race goes off as well as anticipated, I may need you to help me work my event. I will need someone with experience to help me do random inspections on cars round by round. Who would be another person good at inspections if you happen to be racing or working for IHRA? There should not be a IHRA event during this week. If I have done my homework I think THE ROCK has a race Feb.28th/Mar1, then my race Mar.7th/8th, then Farmington's race Mar.13th-15th as far as the IHRA goes. All racers interested in entering my Twin 10's at CPD. We have a pre-registration form set up on coastalplainsraceway.com website, click on enter dragway and all the info. is below my flier. This form will allow me to see how many racers are coming in order to keep up with the car count. Anthony, There is a national event in Baton Rouge that week end . I have not recieved my work schedule as of yet . I usually work all nationals. If not i will give you a call . If you need me ,call my cell = 252 525 0550. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Hey guys, and gals we have 40 racers so far registered for my Twin 10's race on March 14-15 at CPD. Not bad considering we have yet to reach NEW YEAR's. If you plan on coming barring a major catastrophe please go ahead and fill out the pre-registration form on the coastalplainsraceway.com website so I can get a better idea of what all the racers are thinking. Pre-registration is free, it just helps with the organizing and planning that is yet to come before my Mar. 2nd deadline. Thanks to all that have pre-registered and thanks to all that are going to... Well, guys and gals we have just under 4 weeks left before the Mar.2nd deadline for the biggest footbrake race ever at CPD. Now is the time to start getting those pre-entries mailed to the address on the flier, so I can make the big announcement everyone wants to hear. We must have a 150 car count for this race to happen so don't hesistate get your entries in asap. I'm excited and hope you are about our chance at making history at this event. Another note on this , Would be a good time for those who have never been to Coastal Plains to come and race this race . You know they have a div 9 IHRA points race this year. This track always hooks and is a great facility. You guys need to support this big foot brake event .From what i understand Anthony is renting the track on his own and is trying to give us guys a good money race. Please support him on this race. If i am not here i will probably have someone in my car at this event. I would love to see a stocker win this event.After all, as you guys have been saying "It's just a bracket race". Bet you can't run a class race and win 10 grand. Anthony ,maybe you could give a bonus if a class car wins your event.

Danny, there will be all sorts of little prizes and bonuses if I get my car count to hold this race. First off, " run for the money" will cost nothing to enter and will pay out $500 for 1st/2nd closest to their dial second time run. I am promoting this race by myself and renting the track from Ronnie, so come on guys help me out and we will have a blast. You can't just drive to any track in NC and have an opportunity to win 10,000 each day. This is the racers chance to stand up and show our track owners we do want to run these races for big money in footbrake more than once a year. I have always wanted to promote a big time race and I finally have the chance. Class racers come race at CPD and you will not be disappointed. Thanks Anthony

Come on guys, we have 30 days left until the Mar.2nd deadline for my Twin 10's race. I need racers that are planning on coming to get their pre-entries sent in so they can be processed and so the race can be held. It's crunch time, no need to wait and see how many cars we have at the last minute. If we don't have the 150 car count by the deadline we won't have this great race. reading the flyer, it reads, deadline march 2nd. you say feb. 16th, which is correct?

Keith, the March 2nd deadline is correct. Sorry for the confusion, had to move the race to Mar.14-15 due to a conflict in schedule w/ Rockingham therefore the deadline was pushed back also. Thanks Anthony Walton

Hey guys just wanted to give everybody an update on where we stand as far as the Twin 10's are concerned. Right now we have around 80 committed to my race with less than 30 days until the deadline week. If we want this race to happen I need each and everyones support to get the job done. If you are committed we need the entry in by the week of March 2nd. Without the racers support I can not put this race on. 150 is the magic number and I have faith we can reach it. Help me guys and gals let's get this race set in stone. Thanks for your support Anthony
