Just bad luck I guess, I just bought a stocker late this summer and was looking forward to the National at Gateway as I only live about 90 mi. from the track.

Great track, close to home,NO Alcohol classes, plenty of room, lights to race at night (NO CURFEW),and they leave out the class that has been consistantly having the highest car counts in a poor economy.I expected a reduced quota,so I made it a point to get 4 grading points, and I wasted time and money doing that too!

On top of that,I bid a week of vacation for that race too.If the horsepower rating wasn't so ridiculous,I might be able to run Super Stock.

OK -- So D1 has three national events -- E-town , Reading , and Richmond with class only at one -- where's the good news ? ?

Do they normally run SS class eliminations at St. Louis?, and Chicago is the only event where everyone gets to play?

The way I read it (and I could be wrong) they're having Super Stock class eliminations at Gainesville and Atlanta. Now I do not see Stock class eliminations in Division 2. Is Concord (Charlotte) Division 2? If so, I see Stock running class there.

that is odd to have SS class 2yrs in a row at the same track, besides INDY of course

It seems to me the class schedule may be a misprint. It's exactly the same as this year's!! I agree not contesting Super Stock at Charlotte is bs! They should cut it from Denver or Seattle, where they get no cars!!!

Bryan go back and check th schedule again. Did stock run class at e-town in 2008?

Re: 09 Sportsman Class schedule

stock was run at e-town and super stock at the grove.

Bryan - They did change it. No class at Denver, but both S and SS at Topeka. So I guess any stockers who wanted to run at St. Louis can drive 4 more hours west to Topeka this year. Seems a little strange.

No Super Stock period at Houston. They are having Super Street, Super Gas, and Super Comp. If you love cars dying at 60' then this will be the race for you. WTF. ED

Stock was not contested at Topeka this year. Just S/S

I think the only positive point in all of this, if you haven't already noticed, is that each category gets bumped only twice.
