Mike do you know what brand the wheels are on Scott Wagner's car on the front? No stick car pics? C'mon now. I see you guys were running very well. I got another trans with a 3.19 gear in it. ED

Hi Ed. I don't know what I was thinking. More stick photos next time, I promise! Yeah, we ran fairly well, but we missed the good air, Friday morning. We lost half the oil pressure when dad fired it up right out of the trailer. New filter the night before, but luckily, it had something wrong with it. Good to hear you've got another tranny. You'll like that first gear a lot better! What are you doing for clutch?

Mike, your Monte is very impressive! Big bodied, nine second, stick shift 327"! Dang! James Lee told me you have had it for a while and have made a ton of progress with it. Good job!

Mike can you give me the number for Tim Hyatt? I have the RAM ready and want to send the McLeod to him. Thanks. ED

bet those are the new Mickey Thompson wheels that just are coming out.
I seen some Mickey Thonpson wheels on a dragster at Indy Open, really look good.

Thanks for the pictures, especially the one of Larry Schmidt's SS/PA. Heard of the car but never saw it before until now.
Always good to see the 5-6-7 chevs. Not a lot of them left.

I noticed on Drag race central that Jim Hale was in SS/EA at Noble with a 68 Cuda and Mike's photo confirms that he is running a SS/AH car with a diff. engine. Wondered how long it would be until someone did that. Anyone know if its a 383 and what year. I'm building the same combo in my spare time but likely with a stick. Tried to call him today but no answer.

Stewart -
If you will look at the pictures, you will see Hale's old SS/AA car classified as GT/EA. Interesting combo. Probably a small block combo, but it could be a 383.

According to the final qualifying sheet, it is a 383.
