He's saving fuel. Hey Michael, are you coming to Va.?

Re: Beard at it again.
Thanks folks!
Mr. Warehime - No Virginia for me. I offered my services to announce at the Div. 2 Bracket Finals, but if I'm not needed there, I'll probably go to the IHRA Pro-Am double-header at Skyview, or the $10K/$5K footbrake at Cecil County. |
Re: Beard at it again.

Re: Beard at it again.
Dunno about all that... wussed out after the .001 in the semis, and dumped 5 psi out of the fronts for the final! Didn't think I had hit it that hard. Kinston's rollout just happened to be a great match for the Volare and I.
Good thing YOU weren't there, Britt, that's all I can say! I think I owe you more than one these days... you going to Skyview? |
Re: Beard at it again.
Michael , Think I just got even alittle. Your still the Man? I might be there, seeing how my work is.going to Rockingham for shore! Britt

Re: Beard at it again.
Michael,
Since you run both cars, in the REAL WORLD, what is the weight difference between a '72 Duster and a Volare / Aspen coupe with identical equipment? Ballpark figure is fine... I realize a '73 Duster is a little heavier. Thanks for any information.. Bill |

I just found these curb weights listed online, for Volare's... http://www.moparautos.com/volare78-80.htm '78 3,140 '79 3,050 '80 3,200 But I found another source that said 3,395, which seems more reasonable to me. There's a bunch of Duster weights for various years here: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1970-1...h-duster13.htm Hope this helps, |
Re: Beard at it again.
The NHRA classification guide has the individual shipping weights listed on the far right of the charts
|
Re: Beard at it again.
Thanks for the info, Michael and Myron. I'll check out those sources!
