Re: Witty Slogans Seen On Race Cars
Maybe I am showing my age; but one of the best slogans ever was on the deck lid of every car that Tasca Ford campaigned from the early '60s to the early '70s - "Suivez Moi" which in French means "follow me". Two more of my favorites are "Grounds for divorce", and "With my wife's permission".

Re: Witty Slogans Seen On Race Cars
Not exactly a slogan, but waaay back (early 70's) when hood scoops were becoming commonplace, I was snooping around and looking into some guy's scoop, and I was HAD! On the inside of the scoop the guy had a message for guys like me. It read ' what the f**k are ya' lookin' in here for?'
I must not have been the only one. |

Re: Witty Slogans Seen On Race Cars
Not exactly a slogan, but on the drivers side 2nd window I have a decal thet reads " It's time for you to pull over and change the air in your head". It is for me when I get in the car to race, I think I might need to adhere. Also, under the hood I have the mathmetic symbol equation " Pie R Squared" with it's little squigly line and the R with a small number 2 beneath it. Alot of people try to figure it out, but only true geniuses know what it means.
Ron Ortiz U/SA Pie R round, cornbread is squared |
