Kelly Alvey - Rest In Peace!
 

It is with hearts filled with sorrow that I report here of the passing of Kelly Alvey.

Kelly Alvey, wife of Stock racer Dennis Alvey was in a tough battle with cancer, that has ended on Friday mid afternoon at their home in Cornville Arizona. From what I have been told, Kelly thankfully was able to pass quickly, and comfortably with her husband Dennis, and her closest family members by her side.
Since this time Dennis has had many family members, and some close friends with him, and is getting great support.
I believe the news is spreading quickly through social media, but I wanted to post the information here for the racing community, for any that may not have heard as of yet. Arrangements are being made by Dennis, and the family, as per Kelly's instructions, and when I receive the corresponding information, I will post it here.

Kelly will be right there with Dennis watching over him, and all of her great friends in the racing community at future events.

Kelly was truly the best Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend to all!
She will be forever cherished, and forever missed by all who knew, and loved her!

She was a AWESOME LADY! Kelly & Dennis are 2 of the kindest people I have ever met. She will be greatly missed!

This is sad news indeed. We didn’t know Kelly well but enjoyed hanging out with the Verde Valley folks at the races. She was a nice person to be around. Our prayers are with Dennis and Kelly’s family and friends.

Rest in Peace Kelly. Sad news indeed. Dennis hang in there. You will get through this. I went through the same thing with my wife almost 2 years ago. It does get better with time. Surround yourself with family and friends.

Kelly was doing the dials and keeping the camp under control until the very end. She was a very classy lady. It was a privilege to call her a friend. She is missed.

So saddened by a wonderful person taken to soon... I feel blessed that I've gotten to know Dennis and Kelly over the last 7-8 years and honored to count them among my closest friends. We will race on... She will be missed...
