Jim Boudreau a "class" racer

I see that Mr. Jim Boudreau is listed as a member on this site. If anyone has any contact with him please extend our gratitude to this fine gentleman. (NHRA stock #1499 B/SA @ Reading ). I travelled down with my 15 year old son to the soggy Toyo Tires nat'l event held this past weekend @ RAINING Pennsylvannia. We were strolling the sportsman pits during the hours of rain and stopped to take some pics of his beautiful hugger orange 396 Camaro. He took the time to chat with us and answered a couple questions that I had regarding his car. As we were leaving he called out to us and offered us his Class Finalist decal for B/SA. This was really nice of him as he had already been eliminated from stock class eliminations. It made our soggy trip from Ontario Canada much more memorable. BesT of luck to him @ Indy and the rest of his season.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Jim for his win at the IHRA North American Nationals in Epping, NH, from the week prior. Definitely a class act, and a lot of fun to talk to. And talk about a gorgeous car! I may be a Mopar guy, but that's one fine looking car. It made me feel bad being parked beside him in the staging lanes. I have to go polish my wheels now. ;)

Tim- Jim is on the road for the next few weeks racing. Cecil, Indy then Etown. I will forward your kind words to him. He is a class act on and off the drag strip as you found out first hand.

Hi Tim this is Jim Boudreau's daughter. I read the message you wrote about my dad and relayed the message to him (who is right now racing in Indy). He was touched by your kind words. My father's email at work is jim.jbauto@comcast.net and he would like you to contact him. He has something he would like to send to you!

Heard a rumor here at Indy that he lost an engine last weekend. Certainly hope there's no truth to it.
