Congrats to my old friend Steve!!! Steve's dad (Bob Kelly) won the national ET championship back in the early 80's.

Thanks so much everybody. It was an amazing experience; one which I wish I could share with everyone or have everyone experience themselves. I think it will take a little more time for it to all soak in. I will be in celebration mode until it does.

All of my fellow D6 competitors in all categories have helped me learn and get better at racing, which has allowed me to accomplish this. Thanks to all of you for your tough competition and to those of you I've been fortunate enough to learn from by sharing racing stories and experiences. I can't wait for the banquet and 2009 to roll around!

Way to go Steve! I look forward to seeing you bring that Camaro up to Bremerton Raceway next season with that big No. 1 on the window.I'll do you justice on the microphone also. Congratulations.

Can you believe it!!!! Steve you are the CHAMPION. Wish we would have been there to see it. We were logged onto Drag Race Central, hitting the refresh button every few minutes. And I had to read it a couple times when it said "WINNER". You did it all year, time after time, what a perfect season.
