Well i recieved an e-mail from Phil Vickous today informing me that He along with about 20 others have been released from their duties at Holley. This is sad but it's whats going on all over the country. Seems like the Product truck will also be parked in 2009. I am sure that a lot of you new Phil as he was really great to work with, and he will be greatly missed!:(

Hey Woody,

Is Doug Flynn still there? Haven't talked to him for quite a while but he did straighten me out back when I was getting my car runnin'.

Damn shame about those other guys.:confused:

I was told that Holley is skipping BOTH the SEMA Show and the PRI Show. And Mopar is skipping the PRI Show.

Word has NASCAR teams may lay off as many as 1000 employees after Homestead. It was reported that Mopar has told Schumacher they will not be back on the F/C that Scelzi drives next year. Supposedly Evernham is talking to Toyota, and Petty Enterprises is looking to establish a relationship with Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, which would also tie them to Richard Childress Racing.

While it doesn't look good, any hints as far as anyone's contingency involvement in 2009?

Damn, Mopar is 1/2 the reason for me wanting to go to the PRI show and I wanted to see the Package Challenger up close.
