Looks like a well equipped place.
He doesn't want his name out there? Not till after the dyno test? LOL

He has some niche markets and
unfortunately won't even take this kind of work. Yes, very well equipped and I'm very lucky to have this opportunity. Unfortunately between school and work Autumn hasn't been able to be involved much in this process.

Are those break in rockers or regular 1.5 rockers?

Well, good news and bad news. The good news is the crankshaft guy will be ok... the bad news, he had a what he thought was a heart attack while grinding the crank and has been in the hospital since Tuesday. Seriously you can't make this stuff up! Also, the spring cups I have are going to need some serious machining to fit. Did work on the rods today to start measuring bearing clearance.

I think this would be a good jumping off point for head flow on a 882 casting @ 28 inches 4.060 bore

.200 130
.300 188
.400 218

That head would make great power, or so I'm told.

Two sets of spring seats neither is close. Thank you Comp for putting the wrong set in the right box!

Like you said, Todd. You can't make this stuff up!

Stout heart, Todd and Autumn!:D

Back in the day we used to say, "IF it doesn't fit and it isn't on time and it costs too much it must be race car parts" and evidently the people side of the equation is pretty much the same.

Keep on keepin' on and it will work out. Grab adversity by the scruff of the neck and beat him to death with a handful of the details properly addressed!

Regards,
HB2:)

I have a crankshaft in my hands, I also have a set of spring seats that will take the least machining.
