Re: The Fall f the United States, The End
This is what happens when you push God out of Gov't, schools and society. He will step aside and say okay you're on your own and evil will come to the fore front and try to take over. It's evident in the news everyday. Just like Ron said, we need to PRAY and ask Him to come and help the best nation in the history of man and it's not because of what we have done but what He has done for us. Please forgive us Lord, we have turned from You, Lord please come and heal our land again. We ask this in Jesus name Amen.

So where did all this "record revenue" come from? The three main sources of federal tax revenue are individual income taxes, payroll taxes, and corporate income taxes. Per the Constitution of the United States, Article I, Section 8. If corporate taxes are reduced, what does that leave to pay the rest? I totally agree that the government spends way beyond it's means, I am for a flat tax with no deductions. I would also like to see a budget passed on time, the Federal Fiscal Year ends September 30. This year they were working on it in June. I would like to see something that was implemented here in California. If the budget goes past the due date the Assembly does not get paid. You and I are on the same page with regards to spending, it is out of control. |

Good for your Dad, I worked on a number of occasions with Lawrence Livermoore Labs and Sandia Labs conducting testing of War Reserve weapons. DOE was always present because they had accountability of the material. I even got an opportunity to deliver a weapon system to the National Test Site and observe an underground test. My techs assembled the weapon for strike and turned it over to the Sandia techs for the underground test. It was interesting work but not something I wanted to continue to do after I left the military. I did go to work for GE Engine Services in Ontario, CA. Worked there for three years and they closed the plant and moved it to China. |

Eddie you indicated earlier in the thread you’re not a Christian and then you parce a NT scripture for your purpose. I’m not attacking you, just indicating there might be some irony with that. What Bret indicated that belief in a certain set of values would be in our common interest. When the Sisters of Divine Indulgence were honored at Dodger stadium you probably don’t understand why some Christians were offended. If they mocked the Koran I don’t think it would have come down quite like that.

Re: The Fall f the United States, The End
Could someone please post the video of Reba McEntire's song "Back To God" for me and everyone to hear? I don't have the skills to do this.
This song is awesome and makes a very positive statement. I have the full gospel cd and love it. Thank You and God Bless. |

Re: The Fall f the United States, The End
I always am amazed at how this song from 1968 still hits dead on ....The "She" in the Song is the Country and the Statue of Liberty.
https://youtu.be/3REXu1ZO3BY Once the religious, the hunted and weary Chasing the promise of freedom and hope Came to this country to build a new vision Far from the reaches of kingdom and pope Like good Christians, some would burn the witches Later some got slaves to gather riches But still from near and far to seek America They came by thousands to court the wild And she just patiently smiled and bore a child To be their spirit and guiding light And once the ties with the crown had been broken Westward in saddle and wagon it went And 'til the railroad linked ocean to ocean Many the lives which had come to an end While we bullied, stole and bought our a homeland We began the slaughter of the red man But still from near and far to seek America They came by thousands to court the wild And she just patiently smiled and bore a child To be their spirit and guiding light The blue and grey they stomped it They kicked it just like a dog And when the war over They stuffed it just like a hog And though the past has it's share of injustice Kind was the spirit in many a way But it's protectors and friends have been sleeping Now it's a monster and will not obey The spirit was freedom and justice And it's keepers seem generous and kind It's leaders were supposed to serve the country But now they won't pay it no mind 'Cause the people grew fat and got lazy And now their vote is a meaningless joke They babble about law and order But it's all just an echo of what they've been told Yeah, there's a monster on the loose It's got our heads into a noose And it just sits there watchin' Our cities have turned into jungles And corruption is stranglin' the land The police force is watching the people And the people just can't understand We don't know how to mind our own business 'Cause the whole worlds got to be just like us Now we are fighting a war over there No matter who's the winner We can't pay the cost 'Cause there's a monster on the loose It's got our heads into a noose And it just sits there watching America where are you now? Don't you care about your sons and daughters? Don't you know we need you now We can't fight alone against the monster Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Jerry Edmonton / John Kay |
