Harland sharp rockers. pac springs, the 327 intake nothing done to it at all, Deano carb ....stock rods, block and heads. that came in the car from the factory! I did put a forged factory crank in it. the headers are $89.00 small tube dynotechs I made the collectors holley blue fuel pump, . powerglide 218 low gear. converter stalls 4600-4800 I put 556 gear in the rear. comes thru the end at 7000 rpm converters not right but we going to try a turbo 350 for next year. I would like a new set of heads for it. after it shifts I think I could get out and run faster. but it runs the number all day long cutting a light is the only problem with the car.

Thanks.
It will feel faster with the 3 speed, even if it isn't.
I think it needs more gear, either way.
7500 in the lights doesn't seem that high with all the stuff you can use today.
Your car runs good for your combo..
What kind of altitude and air up there when you run it?
