All and all I'm happy with the way the car ran after making the required repairs to get it ready to do something the afore mentioned trolls don't do.My consistency behind the wheel showed the rust from this being the first outing of the year.I had a good time anyway. Now I'll have the company of daugher #1 tomorrow and both daughters and two of my grand daughters as spectators for the remainder of the race. Some real surprises first round of S/SS.But that's what makes this so interesting. |

Jack,
Sorry to hear about Bob Moran, do you know if anybody dove his rig back for him? He's from my area and I'd be willing to run down there and bring his stuff back if needed. I know Bob tavels alone a lot. George |

Thanks Jack and Ken (and Ed too) for the reports and pictures you share with us. That makes one more thing added to my bucket list of things to do in my lifetime, attend a Div 1 race. You yankees sure have fun when you get together for a race. :)
Hey Dan Moore, you're #1. :D RIP Mark Graham |

Good morning - Today for some reason the Internet decided its OK for me to log on and stay so we'll see what happens as no service for me is getting old .
This morning is the start of another "Super" day here in Old Bridge Township - sunny already at this hour but for the third day in a row the temps will only reach the high seventies - at this moment its a cool 64 degrees with the barometer showing 29.99 and steady . The rest of the story is the vapor pressure at a very low .26 and the humidity showing 48% but get this - put it all together and you end up with a final DA of 650' above Sea Level - this could make for some very fast racing in Stock and SuperStock this morning and Comp will be no picnic trying to stay away from a big CIC penalty . Last evening the usual Friday night show with the Pros was anything but fun to watch - seems they all came out swinging for the fences and not many got down the track - the fans didn't get their moneys worth and a great many left early because it just wasn't fun to watch as pair after pair spun their tires - and I really don't think it was the racing surface . And Toby - not your best work but not bad .....not bad at all ! ! I hope fellow racer Bob Moran who was injured Thursday is feeling better today - anyone know how his surgery went yesterday ? Maybe his friends and family will keep us up to speed ............ |
