Now call Dan Fletcher or Woodro or any other competetive Stock or Superstock racer and ask them how much to build a car in class that runs the same. All I hear is TV this and 18K that. What you are not saying is you have less that a 10% chance of running for the money and being on TV. You mention running ABC class under B weight and make it fair. Thats a joke right or do you not follow class racing. Bring a CJ A/SA and put it against a C/SA camaro both at B weight. You can't say the CJ cant run because his legal class is A. See then how many class racers want part of a heads up 1950's arm drop race. And as far as head count. IF you READ my post it states more are racing today than in 2000 in class. It ALSO states that eventhough many racers have parked or sold we still have a higher head count than in 2000.

If you read my earlier post I gave a suggestion that would work. I can't think of one track that would not take 60 bucks per car with a 500 car count for 10K winner take all. Again run off the index with a .500 max breakout and leave off the tree. So sorry PAO is not the answer for Class unless you format it with the above combo.

However you keep saying you are doing this to try to improve class racing when you are taking everything out of what class racing is. You are wanting to change the rules that make this class fun and limit it to a select few that get picked for what some people are offended you call drag racing. The reason arm drop changed years ago was the simple fact that timing devices are more acurate. The reason for dial in was to ensure everyone had an even playing field. You are wanting to take away what makes this class competetive for 5 minutes of fame that you will probably never get. Pinks will NEVER be class racing nor will it EVER be a soloution to the problem of class racing. It is simply a run what you brung competition that no one cares if your car is an A\SA or a hunk of junk from down the street.
