Larry, these cars have a built in sensor that only allows them to accelerate under full power in a heads up situation. It took a lot of time and effort to accomplish this but it is proving to be well worth it.

Oh, now I understand: Fernandez fouled first.

Not worst, but first. We'll never know if his foul was worse, as his opponent never even had to try. This Fernandez character simply handed over a freebie.

Now it all makes perfect sense.

Here is the helmet cam on Micheal Iacono racing Anthony Bongiovanni. I will have more photos of Super Stock later on today.

I see guys are icing down the blowers on the Mustangs - they will eventually figure out that can be a bad thing - If you cool the case down with hot rotors inside then the rotors will rub the housing at start up taking the rotor coating off and causing the unit to loose efficiency once it comes up to temp. Or worst case the unit will seize due to rotor OD contact. It will be an expensive learning experience.

Hey Larry, The tach only moves foward or up if it is tire spin, when the clutch slips its like it on the conveter in a auto. just kinda sets there for a instant then catches up and goes on.

These shots are under and around the tower for first round Super Stock. It has been another great day of racing, weather has been perfect and we are all done for the day.

Tomorrow looks to be the same as does the schedule, but we will run 3 rounds tomorrow.
