As Jim went from a 69 Camaro Z/28 with a smallblock to an Opel GT with a Buick V6, he went with the name "Wind of Change". With that Buick V6 being a 3.8 Liter engine, the name "Gallon of Go" was entertained also, along with "Buzzin' Half Dozen".

“ No Big Thing” 427 BBC Vespa. “ Vanishing Vega “ this car is about to return to the track. And a favorite car of mine “ Black Magic” black 69’ Camaro ran brackets and SG around Chicago area. Would add the owners name but I probably won’t spell it right.

Back in the mid 60's Dick Moroso car was named the
Yankee Cheater in gold leaf on the top of the rear fender area.

He received a lot of crap over the name and decided to change within a few months.

It seems the tech guy's thought he was cheating for real and started looking very close at the car.

Even if you didn`t know who the owner or driver was, chances are the car name stuck in your head. Obviously some stuck in mine!

Rory, found a picture of Mikes car. Mike's a sign painter, the Gold Rush was done in gold leaf.

Jim, Mike Bowyer lived a few blocks from our house in Delta, I still remember seeing him drive that car past our house, all lettered up, and sounding cooler than hell. Made a big impression on my then adolescent mind! I seem to recall there was more stickers and possibly different lettering on the 57, did it look different over the years?
