Re: Impact Racing
WoW, Looks like all that Bill Simpson/Impact bashing was for nothing. Like I said, It looks like a misunderstanding. Lets hope Big Daddy's Challenger passes tech or some people here might be asking for him to be kicked out of the HOF. I hope all you people who got rid of your impact stuff are kicking yourself in the azz for throwing money away.

However, not knowing ALL of the facts yet,I will say this: IMPACT RACING pays contingency.I run their belts and got a check from them last year. As long as their belts are acceptable and "legal" to use,I will continue to do so. |

If you want to buy their stuff I'm surely not stopping you.I said it was only my opinion. Now go back to work on your car and maybe you'll go under the index this year. |
Re: Impact Racing
This agreement was just a compromise to keep it out of a long court battle.
Anything older than 2009 is still no good. I got my new Sparco stuff in yesterday. Chip |

Now if they replace your pre-2008 products with current certified products, I would have a different view on Impact......I remain skeptical though  |
Re: Impact Racing
Screwed???? Belts are only good for 2 years, so you would have needed new ones anyway! Last year was the first year we were required to wear pants, so they shouldn't have been out of date when you bought them! So how will anybody be screwed??? If your belts are affected by this ruling, you needed new ones anyway!!! The only thing that you may need to replace is your jacket! And If that's 3 years old, and you're so safety conscious, you should be replacing that anyway!
