Re: Thoughts and Prayers to the Blankenship Family (loss of Mrs Shirley Blankenship)
What a loss! The Princess of IHRA is not with us anymore. I was just talking with her at Budds Creek in the Tech trailer about how short life is and we had agreed that we should "live every day as if it's your last". She was always so full of life and eager to help with a big smile and an encouraging word. Hank, we all love you and care for you. GOD bless you...you and Shirley are in our prayers.

Re: Thoughts and Prayers to the Blankenship Family (loss of Mrs Shirley Blankenship)
My generation of racers spends a lot of time talking about "back in the day" and how it used to be. Sadly, that now will apply to the IHRA Tech Trailer. Even though she sometimes tried to put on a stern face, she always got a little smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye when I gave her my "morning Miiss Shirley". Gods speed Miss Shirley.
