Re: Question on Hoods

Try getting a 283 4 speed1966 Malibu SS through tech. In the end it was decided (by NHRA) someone had added the emblems (it was factory car) as they were not in the guide.

I'm going to propose making the "Grumpy Lump" hood scoop legal on all 1967-1969 Camaros.

Who's with me?

At the time back in 77 ,78,at a scrap yard ,i found my SS hood on a gold 4 door chevelle,i thought who wood put that on a 4 dr,now i understand cop cars had them,,i got the hood for $10 bucks, yes $10 bucks, cant remember if it was a v-8 car, good old days oh and $5 bucks for a steel 350 crank std.

I'm in. I have one for my car all painted to match that was on when I did some nostalgia races. Looks awesome on the car, makes me wan't to go back to a modified motor just to put that hood back on.

Just to further confuse the issue, here's Bobby with a 67 car and a 68 hood.
Trust me. He wouldn't have had either one, if he didn't have to.
