It was originally run by Joey Tolisano in 1983-1985, shortly before Joey passed away in August of 1985 he sold the car to Ron Morehead Jr of Newburgh NY who ran the car for a couple years before selling it to Carmine Savino of Campbell Hall NY, Carmine sold the car to Tony Testa from White Plains NY who sold the car in 2000 to someone he doesn't remember. That's as much as I've been able to find out... As of 2000 the car was supposedly still painted the same.

Just a comment...


In 1981 I attended my first national NHRA event at Englishtown NJ(spectator). "The Summer Nationals". Despite the magnitude of everything seen that weekend, NOTHING stayed more engrained in my memory than pairs of 66-67 Chevy II's (stick cars) practically standing on their bumpers 1st gear, pulling 2nd and going airborne again, and again in 3rd....great memory!
