Nothing really new with the car atm. Carb was pretty fat at BG....put some 64 jets in the primaries and some AN rods in the back for the next outing.

I lowered the truck 2 inches in the back this weekend and put a set of 18 inch wheels/tires on for good measure. The old tires were getting long in the tooth and driving in the rain made me a little nervous. Truck rode awful being lowered with the air bags in place so I took them off today. I have a set of air shocks on the way which should work just fine.

Found us a much needed pit bike Saturday on Craigslist...a 1978 Honda 50 Express. All original with only 1600 miles, it should fill the bill for the duration of our racing years.

I dig the Honda! I ran a 7.19 a couple weeks back.. I changed back to the smaller cam, from last year, and car is ready to go...if it will just stop raining.... Hope to test Wednesday... and race on Saturday... Looking forward to Columbus ...

Gotta love those vintage Honda "pit bikes"! We've got an 'ol 83 200S 3-wheeler that is beefy enough we can use it to haul a dead racecar back to the pits if we have to.
Take care, Rich. Good luck the rest of the way.

What do you think about an addition to the stable? A '65 Chevelle wagon...

Stocker Wagons make really fun street cars too !

Congratulations on the new member of the Garage Family.
Is it turn key? How about some info on it?

Supposedly a done deal, but it is not in hand yet. About a ten hour drive away atm. Yes, ready to roll but will have to build a 327 for it.

The 327/250 is a good motor combo for that car. J. Gower O/S 3058
