I'm a free-speech absolutist, not only because I believe that everyone should have the right to express their thoughts, ideas, etc.--no matter how vile or obnoxious--but, more importantly, I want to know who my enemies are.

Suppressing speech does not change a person's feelings, beliefs, etc, it just pushes them underground, where those feeling, beliefs, etc. fester and become stronger.

I think Ken is making the right move. You can't be a free speech advocate while simultaneously limiting the speech of those with whom you disagree or dislike.

The simple solution is not to respond to them. Arguing with someone who has a long history of aberrant behavior serves no purpose. You are not going to change them. You need only to ignore them and move on.

Best post so far! Gentlemen if Ed post something that you don't like or agree with it's simple, move on! There's no rule here that you must engage, all you have to do is move on.

Ed your response is proof. If you are not on defense why even respond? You are defending your position and by the way obviously weak as usual. I feel sorry for your son.

It's becoming obvious you are destroying this board. Ken has allowed you "your free speech right" unknowingly aiding in the destruction of what he worked so hard for years to create.

As a result of your intended efforts quality content is leaving in no time you will be the lone expert here with no challenge. You will have done it by never staging a Stock or Super Stock in competition.
You're ruining this board not unlike what happened to "Marie's Board" years ago before Class Racer and Drag Race Results.

It's Ken's sandbox, he makes the rules. Ed plays by the rules. Everybody can play in the sandbox, you don't have to play with Ed. Although sometimes it can be entertaining.

I never post on this stuff but I must say this is disturbing. In today's woke culture if someone disagrees with you , offends you or god forbid hurts your feeling,well they must be banned, or silenced. I am sorry but that's just sad. I must commend Ken for standing up for our freedoms. People died and suffered for these freedoms, please put on your big boy pants and get over it.

The Forums are fostered for the purpose of communication
and exchange of ideas was my understanding.

There are several Bars in my little town that I can attend
if I am just fishing around for a fight!

It is not about me being "Woke"...............................

It is about having non even the slightest modicum of respect for your fellow person.
