Re: Divisional at Famoso
For those of you that don’t know, this car was driven and owned by his uncle, that passed away, and at that time the Intake was legal. In the last year NHRA decided to remove it from the list, Joe did not know.

Re: Divisional at Famoso
Well if this would have been a 1.15 under run would he have turned himself in???? I bet not, if this was another brand all you mopar racers would be looking for blood, but he’s a good guy, threatens a older stock racer that didn’t even call them what they are. CHEATER

Re: Divisional at Famoso
I'm very sure Jim Hale being THE 383 authority can clarify which intake is the best and legal.
John for them to threaten you like that should be investigated by the N.H.R.A. and I also believe the D7 team has some explaining to do regarding their decision to re-classify this car especially after the -1.21 run in Stock Eliminator. This is outrageous and I for one have never heard of this happening before. |

Re: Divisional at Famoso
No worries John. Got your back. Our very own eagle eye in division 7 and traveler spotted the infraction before the fuel check was complete. You'll have to guess who.
I had the pleasure of pitting next to Chad and Sherry Langdon. What great folks! I enjoyed hearing Sherry scream with excitement from afar. Chad was driving great. I broke a starter after first round of class and Chad was there to save my butt and I was able to pull off the C/SA class trophy. The traction was tricky to say the least. During class while helping the champ in D/SA. We ended up putting weight back in. Myself I lowered my launch RPM to 2400. One racer ask if I leave at idle...nearly! I enjoyed getting to visit friends, to tell old fish stories, have a bunch of laughs and some very close races that sure were a great time. Paul Haszlauer 7019 C/SA |
