The hindrance is the attitude of the competitors and other's making jokes about a woman racer's looks or weight. The same as outside of racing. Or that someone is surprised that a husband is not the driver of the only racecar in the family. The fact that her being a woman is brought up regularly too. John Force doesn't have to hear that he is empowering and a role model for white dudes who grew up in a trailer park...EE does though get the role model pressure. I wouldn't want to race her, because she is good, not b/c of which bathroom she uses.

Not sure where a female is hindered at all in drag racing even if most competitors are male. From an engineering standpoint, doesn't the smaller, lighter person actually have an advantage by being able to move weight around the vehicle compared to a bigger, heavier driver?

Sounds like we’re all of a similar mindset in that positioning on the ladder for all sorts of reasons is just part of the sport and EE would probably admit that as well but since it was Anderson it made for a good manufactured story line to hype. There are plenty of those out there as NHRA struggles to put folks in the stands. Isn’t it amazing how those being hyped all stop at the same place in the shutdown area and they rush to get the cameras there for the sucker punch or verbal exchange. Afraid the whole Pro show is pretty much a circus/WWF promotion with the motorcycles being the most genuine but have to hand it to the KB team, when they run their teammates it’s a straight up deal. The other big teams are all suspect in my book. The KB bunch are racers in the fullest sense of the word, in the true tradition of Garlits, Shirley, Glidden, it’s actually a pretty long list but their peers in the active ranks are thinning.

I don't see it like that at all, if you are going to win regularly it can't matter to you the sex of the driver in the other lane. It's NHRA who is constantly blasting us with these updates about female driver statistics. John Force is a role model that "old man" doesn't mean you are unable to offer anything. A lot of businesses should wake up to it.

That bathroom deal all depends on what city you're in. NY and some other mentally challenged cities have unisex bathrooms you know.

Greg Anderson did nothing wrong and spoke with class and dignity during all of his Pomona interviews. Erica and her team did not and have shown their true colors too many times now. No longer an Erica fan and just made me root for others more.

Who cares what theses elites "Pros" think? Class Racing is where it's at.

I think the rub came from it being a team move, if Jason had done it I think it would have been looked at differently.

However it did make for what I thought was the best ProStock race of the year.
