Don't count our Mr. Penrod... He improved 43 points today to 605. I he wins two more rounds tomorrow, he'll have a 22 point lead. If he wins one more round tomorrow, he'll have a one point lead.

It seemed some were having issues spinning. I found just the opposite my 60 ft times were within thousandths every run and ran the second fastest time I have run with the combo I have in the car right now. I watched second round and it seemed the high power cars running on 9 inch tires were the ones having the issues. I have raced here at this event for the past 4 years and the track has always been good for me

Looks like you posted before they were done for the day. Penrod has taken the 1 point lead with 21 more on the table in the final.

one car spins and the track is a skating rink. Lol.
I'm running 9.40's on 9 inch tires today.
I will say this I've raced here for years and there is a narrow groove.

now if you really wanna know about the track conditions just go ask anyone that ran the Mosher shoot out last night they’ll tell you!!!!
personally I think 60 foot times were awesome it’s just the rest of the track that needs grooming they’ve had this problem there for many many years I remember when IHRA used to run there in April
too cold,track bad it happens
Seems funny I can run Atco down to 38 or so degrees and never have that problem
