Yes he did, and in round 2 of class, Rod Butcher went 1.265 under in the same combo. It was a crazy day, cars were getting faster as the day went on. Temps dropped a little and along with humidity. Many were surprised on how quick it was.

We are done for the day, Comp just finished up. Stock is out tomorrow for first round at 10:15. I have lots more photos and a few videos, check back later tonight when I am done editing. All the qualifying and class rounds along with the ladder are up on DRC.

I thought it was an 86 car. Base coupe, natural G car.
Why it's entered as an 85? Who knows?

I figured someone would know.

NHRA probably couldn't determine the difference between 85 and 86 on a tech card, in hand-writing.

Regardless of what the tech card says, the combo is getting 4.25% on Tuesday.

Still faster than my pile, with 120+ more lbs!

I think we can all agree that car and Butcher's are both BAD fast regardless of class.
