Re: RIP Leo Taugher
Leo you will be missed by all. Racing started for me to have Red Man at the starting line and Leo announcing . Talking about Leo at the party was good for all of us. Thanks for being a great friend and thanks for what you did for our sport. Rest in peace from the Alvey family

Re: RIP Leo Taugher
What a huge loss for the racing community, we’ve lost an extraordinary announcer, a tremendously kind hearted guy and a true friend to all racers. Godspeed Leo, we’ll miss you lots!!

Re: RIP Leo Taugher
It is after hearing news like this when I sit back in my chair and think just how unfair life can be. Leo was such a wonderful friend to so many, it is unfair we have lost him at really such a young age - Leo was so very young at heart. Unfair to his family, he was such a big hearted man I can only imagine their loss.
Leo, we will miss your knowledge, your passion, your creative insights over the mic. But we will miss your true, caring friendship the most. We will see you sooner than we should wish to... |
Re: RIP Leo Taugher

Re: RIP Leo Taugher
This is awful! I always enjoyed listening to Leo announcing Stock and Super Stock, but especially Comp Eliminator! Their first hit at the track on Thursday afternoon at the U.S. Nationals will never quite be the same.
We're all gonna miss you, Leo. |
Re: RIP Leo Taugher
RIP Leo, I will miss his hearing "The Mustang's in high gear can he hold him off?!" in the videos he was announcing. I never got to meet him in person but sure wish I did.

Re: RIP Leo Taugher
I meet Leo in 2010 at the Jeg's Northern Sports National. Great sportsman announcer as it turned out he announced all my rounds in winning the SST title. RIP Leo we will miss you.

RIP Leo. You will be missed.
Met Leo in the early 70's at Quaker City. He was a great man and a real pro in the booth and walking the pits. An old Quaker friend. John |
