Well, some really good cars didn't qualify the last couple of years given the FSS cars and their index, and this year looks to be even more of a challenge for 'traditional' stockers. Think Nitro Joe is pretty close with his prediction. If you've got a stocker that can't go .90 under in D3 summer air then I think you're just going for the experience rather than reasonably looking to be able to run the eliminator. Not trying to rain on anybody's parade...Topeka and/or Bowling Green heat will probably lead a few to cancel their entries to spend at a future National event.

But finding an under rated combo in S/SS has always been the game, rather than picking a popular one , and pouring money into it..IMO. The trucks and the ol' wagon were showroom available and legal street vehicles at one time . Congrats to all three! |
