Richard will be greatly missed in drag racing as well as in the Dayton business community. He was always professional & the best in his field.
I remember Richard & my father being close friends. I think a decade or longer of them going out to lunches & dinners. The friendship carried over to me as well. I always looked up to him & admired his attention to detail (he always had the most pristine stuff!). He would spend time in the off season tinkering with his trailers, race car, truck, etc...always improving things. I consider it a real honor to have had Richard affect me positively in my life. A sad day for myself and our racing community. Always a pleasure to be around had many a good time with Richard. I will miss him. RIP my friend.

Sorry to hear of his passing. He was always with a smile and good spirits. One of the great guys in racing. He will be missed by many.
