Let it rest please. Have a nice day Regards FED387

Did you check one of the AMC sites? I know he is / was on them.

maybe, but it wasn't anybody's fault but NHRA"s if ya ask me...I was just trying to play by THEIR rules.

fwiw, I don't blame J.L.....anyway, yeah, he's on one or 2 amc sites I go to, can't remember his "handle" though....superstockamx maybe?

Jeff can defend himself.....He entered his AMX as a SS/H in Phoenix and ran under the index. Even though he lost in the first round.....I would say that his car is strong.....If your want to pick on Jeff.....then pick on everyone else that seeks every legal advantage they can get.....including me.

Ed, it was not from the factory it was a factory replacement part which is legal for everyone else but AMC. I'm just saying that everything should be even with everyone.

Eric, the parts approved were Group 19 out of the catalog. That's not the same as what a car came from the factory with. I've been around AMCs since 1973 and the only cars I've seen that came from the factory for sale to the public were the 53 SS cars and as we all know the disclaimer said not for use on public highways.
I have never seen an street legal unaltered AMC car with a Holley 4 bbl.

Just because you have never seen it doesn't mean it didn't happen, but i'm done wasting time on this as it doesn't matter. We will continue to race and still win, good luck with your bench racing.

After 34 years of racing (and some winning) I think I'm entitled to some bench racing. BTW does a Motorcraft 1.24 ring a bell???????????????????
