Good luck fellas.....
They're going to need alot of that and a whole lot more of this $$$$ and most likely will still be looking through the fence on raceday. Better keep a sportsman car nearby. |

Re: Live from Englishtown , N J -- NHRA SuperNationals
Just got word from Jack, heavy thundershowers just rolled through. Not sure how long they will be down, but the rain was heavy with lots of wind.
Jack hooked up and hit the road. He said he would give us a wrap up later tonight. |
Re: Live from Englishtown , N J -- NHRA SuperNationals
The rains did show up again at E-Town this afternoon but only for a half an hour or so but were accompanied by some strong winds .Almost as quickly as the storm blew in it was gone - dark clouds and all .The Sun came back out and helped with the drying process .
First of all congrats to 'Lil Joe Santangelo the Stock champion who was a driving machine all weekend .Would you believe thru seven rounds of racing he averaged .017 .And the clutch race had to be in the quarters with Joe Lisa heads-up with both having almost the same ET's but Joeys' light a terrific .009 .Congrats Joey ... Congrats also go out to Eric Cabral who made it to the Stock final in his very first try only to go -.014 red . The SuperStock final was contested between Brian Martel who went .018 followed by James Antonnette who went -.004 red .Congrats to both ........... I'm still downloading some afternoon photos and after a dinner I'll post 'em . This was some race - it had it all-- heat - cool - fast -- slow - good barometer -- in the toilet barometer -- one thing great for the Sportsman all weekend was the traction - thanks NHRA ! ! ! My advise - get some grade points and sign up for this one next year . |
