I find it quite unusual that none of the promotion techniques that are available are employed at all by NHRA, any normal business would be jockeying for a better market share esp in these times, either they dont get it or they dont give a *****.

Div 3 does have a RFC shoot out for the super classes (usually Fri night). This seems to be fairly popular and helps raise money for racers that have been hurt at different tracks. It's a good thing!!!!!!!!

The more I think about it, the more the NHRA reminds me a lot of the way our government works, dysfunctional, very hard to get together on things that are vital to growth, etc.....

Interesting about what Bob said he and Jim were told about a Quick 8, "There was an accident so we stopped doing the Quick 8". That doesn't make much sense, What's the difference between that a time shot or first round???
