Re: Ihra national events are back!!
Guys, I'm not bashing this at all. Grateful for It's return. I loved the IHRA supported and ran stock eliminator for 6 years. Liked the structure then and it's even better now but my point is, I cannot support it because of work! No work = no money for racing. Where can I find more info on the Friday and Saturday qualifying? I cannot see anything on the website.

I would much rather see Juniors at these than Alcohol. I seriously would be willing to pay double the entry fee if they would remove the Alcohol classes. But honestly in the 6 National events I?ve been to I?ve watched less the 12 pair of Pro cars go down the track. To me it?s like watching someone else play cards. The Alcohol classes are like watching someone shuffle the cards for the pros and dropping them every time while shuffling. Comp Showdown and Factory X are every bit as fun to watch in my opinion. |

Re: Ihra national events are back!!
I wish them the best but I don't know if very many Pro Teams will have the budget to run these races in 2025.
Of course they could skip planned NHRA races to attend these. |

Please consider some events in the D4 area. We will support them.

Re: Ihra national events are back!!
IHRA was a basically a southern organization back in the day, now they have set up for more or less a northern organization which makes it a very long ride to get to one of their races. I hope that they have their sights on the old Atlanta raceway that the last time I passed it could easily be restored to a racetrack again. At least for me, it would be a reasonable tow.
I'm rooting that IHRA becomes very successful with a strong following again so that we have choices where to race. Hopefully puts pressure on NHRA to step up with the purses, which are very low for the entry fees. Casey Miles 248H Stock |
