Racing is done for the night. They still have 3 rounds left, the dew started to come in so they called it for the night. Not sure how the schedule will be adjusted for the second race.

We will have more info tomorrow.

I have a question to ask I saw a Pontiac firebird in stock at this race it not that fast but doesn’t the rule book state that you must have the car painted in order to compete in the class

You are probably referring to Bruce Noland’s C/SA Firebird and yes it is painted that flat black finish you may see nowadays. A photo may make it look like It’s in primer, but it’s painted and looks pretty cool in person.

Good morning everyone, sorry for the lack of reports. I had a issue with the race car and tried to get it fixed for first round, but had no luck getting it done in time.

Yesterday we got one round in for most the classes, today we will start out with Super Street at 10am. The weather for to day, perfect. I will probably be heading out soon, live timing will be the place to go for todays results. Its been a hectic weekend of racing, I was told we had 500 plus race cars here at Virginia Motorsports Park. My next race should be Bristol, see you all then.

Ken, thanks for all the photos, especially the action shots.

The Mustang in Super Street is cool.

The driver does get a pretty unobstructed field of view on their competition with it!
