The mph was in milliseconds for the at that time 132 ft speed trap, you had to look at a chrondek chart on the wall to convert to mph. I remember by the end of the day it was sometimes hard to find our slip because there were so many in the box, seems alot of people didnt bother to go get them. There was one guy with a vega deep staging, I had no understanding why, but he won alot. Seems like a long time ago. My current super stock would've been a brand new car then.

I grew up at the Ardmore track ,just got home from there today watching a few customers, and I believe the mph chart is still in the bottom of the tower....when I was about 9 or 10 yrs old,my mom sat in a booth with a phone and I handed out the hand written slips before the “tube” came along.....Victor Penrod

Well, after all.. it is a Billy Meyer owned facility....That pretty much says it all.....

Oh yeah, yes indeed. I remember the guy that used to go to the old Houston track (and Porter) with me. He was notorious for running to the tower to get my time slip and then getting distracted on his way back! Here I sit on the fender of the old open trailer in the boiling Texas heat wondering what the car had just run.
Ah..... the good 'ol days.

So wait, Self tech but you have to go across the scales on a dial in race?

Just downloaded the app? Really.
It’s a mutha **&$#(
. Problem when racers are losing races because of no win light or time slip
If it’s so dangerous to give out a time slip why are they racing ?
I shouldn’t need my phone to race my car
. Give a time slip like it’s regular weekend
It’s BS stop being sheep....... and demand a time slip
Not asking for much.

I went to the NHRA Div 5 Summit Racing ET finals yesterday at Heartland Park, to help my Nephew out. This is a NHRA Race, no face mask required at the starting line, paper time slips. You would of not known there was a chinese flu problem. Like it should be.

I thought it was considered dangerous to operate a motor vehicle when using a cell phone.

Somebody at the end of the season is going to be really upset about this as one round can make a Big difference in points!

Did they install driver win lights or improve the old ones?

Today (Sunday) on Dragracer.tv I could see them flashing.
