I have no idea - how what you said is relevant.

Complain to Big - he is getting paid.

Give it a rest. I am sure you can not.

Oh yea the "Stagg Chili" days - seems like a lifetime ago.

Its all about the money - I have become older and swim down stream most of the time now.

Big is not having a problem so neither am I.

Just glad to have a place to compete on the left coast.

Ron, you didn't pi** me off either. I asked a legitimate question.
Here's another legitimate question (or 2 or 3);
In the last 25 years, how much has the NHRA raised the Natl. Event entry fee and how much have they raised the membership fee?
In the last 25 years, how much has the NHRA raised the NHRA CASH purse for Stock and SS?

I don't see how Toyota loaning the NHRA a few cars and handing the B-O-Ds an UN-disclosed amount of monies is going to do anything for me other that force me to enter a Div. Event (which I would probably enter anyway IF I had the time off to do it) in order to race for a Class Trophy that I entered a Natl. Event to compete for.
In all fairness, I am not entered at the Gators, but I could have. I had the grade points.

If Big Daddy and W.J. and Shirley can squeeze a couple of bucks out of the B-O-D then good for them but I'll bet that it's a very few bucks. I wonder if the B-O-D will let them sell non-NHRA sanctioned T-shirts!

Remember that Chevy, Dodge and Ford all had the chance to sponsor the same event.

BTW ... Is Dodge okay given that it is an Italian company that makes Challengers in Canada?

The fiat company will be closing the plant in 2020.

And all corporate income and tax dollars go straight to japan.

I guess you are correct, we have seen an abundance of Toyota’s and Nissans running in stock and superstock lately.....

Canadians buy millions of U.S vehicles every year. Unlike Mexico,Canada wage structure is even higher in Canada than the U.S. Toyota and Nissan have some very fast cars. Open yourself to something new, if you don,t NHRA will be doomed tp fail in this new era.Don’t forget that kids now aren’T interested in the automobile anymore.CR

All the Hemis are made in Mexico.

I doubt many, if any of them, are still licensed to drive anything interesting, and the lawyers wouldn't be willing to overlook that.
