How in the world anyone with a stock or super stock car that lives within a few hundred miles doesn't attend this event is beyond me. $325 to enter, 2 cracks at $6K to win. Win first round get a few bones back. Slam dunk.

Silver lining for those that lose round 1 is on saturday S/SS run before the bracket classes so if you lose rd1 of NHRA race you can buy into bracket program before their rd 1.

A local sponsor stepped up with big money on Saturday for Modified (No box), Super Pro (Box) and Quick Sportsman (8.90 &faster box) to go on top of the regular payout.

Mod with 44 cars would pay $2000+ for $50 CDN entry fee
Super Pro at 30 cars pays $1800+ for $60 CDN entry fee
Quick Sportsman with 11 cars pays $2000+ for $100 Cdn entry fee

Race Cayuga Sportsman Series is the ones organizing the bracket class.

Also there are wallys up for grabs in those classes on saturday.... but based on another thread in here I didnt want to lead with the fact incase I was run out of town before I can complete our Super Stock/bracket car build....

Link below has updated Schedule information from the track on the event. Also shows Thursday gate openings from 3-8 pm.

Also spoke to Steve Lecours earlier, he will be onsite Friday Saturday and Sunday performing Chassis Inspections for anyone requiring one.

Good luck to all the ACSSA members from Atlantic Canada headed up this weekend ... wish I was able to go...next year...hope we get some live from Cayuga reports , have fun and drive safe!!

Well here we are at the gates of the first of 3 National Opens thanks to Dave Mohn and the Ned Gang. A payout total of $25000 usd WOW. All the entrance fees going back to the stock/superstock racers. LETS RACE!!

The next in the series is at Napierville dragway and it is their 30th anniversary hosting National opens. Congrats to Ronald and his family. They announced that this year they have a special deal for racers. Bring a friend who has not raced at Napierville the last 2 years and the entrance is reduced for both cars from 275us each to 350us for the pair. WOW plus its $10000 to win.

Next is Miramichi can't wait to hear what they have planned
