John wasn't the owner, he was an employee. Someone may owe you money, but it's not JD. He doesn't have it to refund, never did. Anything he does would be a gift, not a refund. Personally, I'd let the 80/20 rule guide me on this if it were my decision.

Maybe you didn't get a reply because you didn't contact him via his email, as he instructed you to. I don't think it would be that difficult to do so, or do you think he should play by your rules?

I don't recall anyone setting the rules when I paid for a subscription that I never received.

He asked here what can he do now and stated he wanted to make it right. I made it easy, stating he could give me a subscription.

As of now, he hasn't made any attempt to make it right and I don't expect he will. It's not about the $ to me, it's the principle.

what's right is right. Bottom line is I became aware of and decided to subscribe to Drag Racing Action due to John D's efforts, both with distribution to racers and because of his editorial direction and content.
