Thoughts and prayers from my dad and I. I spoke with Kip on the phone prior to the Vegas Divisional and just from that conversation I could tell that he is a great person.

Kip was taken off life support this afternoon.At 1:40 today Kip passed away surrounded by his 3 wonderful daughters.Kip's passing was peaceful, surrounded by love.
Today the drag racing community lost a legend.The Ford fans lost one of their best racers, And with that said, 3 daughters, 2 stepsons and grandchildren lost a great man.
Kip was always the first one to help someone out.In his honor, take the time to help someone, you may be suprised at the outcome

So sad! I never got to meet him, but admired his performance and accomplishments. I've heard nothing but great things about him. R.I.P.

Never met Kip, but he did spend lots of time on the phone with me when I was considering a SBF SS/GT build. Truly a nice gentleman

RIP Kip. I just sent him a message 2 days ago asking him if he would be interested in running the SS/K Shootout.

For Sure we have lost a legendary Ford racer today...but Kip was for more than that...a very special friend... brilliant...generous,giving to a fault...some days...far too often @ 65 and counting...hurt...a lot...God Speed... Kip,I truly have been blessed to have had your friendship...Sincerely,Drake Viscome
