Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check
payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and
including their life. That is beyond honor, and there are way too many
people in this country who no longer remember that fact.

Thanks to All the Veterans they gave us what we have today.

I will not take the credit for this statement. A Friend sent to me and I cut and pasted.

But WHAT a TRUE STATEMENT

Tomorrow if you are out and see I GI in uniform buy his meal or say "THANKS"

Thanks to all vets and those currently serving. U.S. Army, 43rd Engineer Co attached to the 169th, Long Binh, 4/67-4/68, 1 year to the day.

'69-70 RVN 4th ID An Khe, Pleiku, etc.

'75-'80 2AD Ft Hood

...and a bunch of other places and units.

Please remember our fallen hero's and the endless cross's spread throughout the world on forgotten battlefields.

Yes....That was the Cavs. base camp. After about 30 days after arriving I left with the HQ battery and went to Phu Cat (sp?) which was a new LZ that grew into a larger air base and never returned until I rotated back to the world on July 22nd 1967. The base camp was already there when I arrived in July 66.
