See, there ya go. When there's no accountability, there's no consistency with these guys.

They must like lawsuits or something.
I'm just a layman ,but it seems like a slam dunk to me.

What about it, Jared?

15 for the '10 CJ and 12 for the '09 DP 5.7. What will be fun is the new 5.0 CJ.

If NHRA changed the AHFS part way thru this year and didn't info the stock/superstock folks then there is room to complain, but tell me that the cars that recieved HP in Vegas this past weekend have to much power on them now. I DON'T THINK SO, they could get another 3.25 and still be at the top so quit cryin and take your HIT. You may have to open the throttle more than 50% or remove a couple hundred pounds.

Seem's the focus on the new DP's have been with the 5.7 combo. Any new's on the 6.1 Hemi combo?

A little math: The 372 hp 5.7 is now a natural A car as a 2009. As a 2010 it is a natural B car. I don't think they can get to the minimum in A (3146) but they can get to the max using next years rules @ 3330, which is also the minimum for B or add another 185 or so, claim a 2010 and run C @ a little over 3500 lbs. Look for the 392 6.4 to appear @ 375 hp; same motor, 2 pts less compression, but 47 more cid. It's gonna be a long year next year. And of course there is always the new car that is official.

Not very likely that it would go anywhere. When the Pro Stock Trucks got thrown out the class as a whole was shut down and all of a sudden guys that spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on their racing operations had a pile of junk. THOSE GUYS had some damages to complain about.

Stock/SS? Not so much. No the playing field isn't level....yet, but we all still have a place to race. The most any of us would probably be damaged is a couple hundred bucks for low qualifier and class winner. Even that is speculative.

In any event, NHRA would be able to argue they're taking measures to remedy the problem (67 hp in 7 months is good evidence of that IMO).
