7. 69 Hemi RR conv turq/black auto
Thank you Ma Mopar for building these great cars!

You win! Wow, that's some collection. Were these all bought during the '70's oil embargo? I know of a guy here in Phoenix named Dave Blake who still has many of these cars. He bought them from the mid to late 1970's when gas was "expensive". He has an impressive collection and at one time (still?) had 3 HEMI E-body convertibles and 3 HEMI Darts.
Ah, the money that has slipped through our hands!

The '69 Road Runner 440 6-pak 4-speed would have to be in that list. When properly tuned and driven, they were brutal on the street.

My all-time favorite would be a '70 383 Roadrunner, followed by a '70 Duster 340.

I'm easy.

Re: "7" Plymouth's You Just Had to Have.

I think HEMIDARTDAVE wins the actually owned "7" car Plymouth list.
Well over a Million $ in cars. Todays dollars.

Had to add one more to the list.
1965 Plymouth Valiant V-200 Sedan 273/235HP Commando 4-speed.
The fastest and lightest 273 Commando at 2714 lbs.
A perfect 11.55 wt/hp break.
In 65' with the true Hurst shifter and linkage, and that hollowed out
low-restriction muffler along with 3.91 optional gears.gears.
Capable of 15.10's, right off the dealership lot.
If you knew had to order one back then, you couldn't get the Formula S package on the Valiant (which was available on the Barracuda's), but you
could order the Performance group package with a special order (Firm-Ride HD shocks, heavy-duty 6-leaf rear springs, HD front sway-bar and wider wheel rims 5" x 14"), as well as the
8 3/4" Sure-Grip Posi rear.

Re: "7" Plymouth's You Just Had to Have.

Those little 1965-6 Valiant Commando 273 cars were some of the biggest sleepers on the street back then......the slant six models out there must've outnumbered the 235 hp Commando V8's by at least 100,000 or more....to 1, Hi- performance Valiant Commando models were also very difficult to identify......on the street, you had to come up from behind them and see that big rectangular "box" exhaust tip to know what you were about to deal with....or, looking from the side, they had barely noticable small "Commando" emblems on each front fender. The Valiants--- coupe, hardtop, station wagon, and convertible are still some of the rarest and coolest stockers and superstocks running down the track today....BTW, has Paul C., or anyone else here ever owned or even seen a 235hp Commando 273 Valiant (from factory) '65 or '66 station wagon? I have never seen one here in New England.....also, anyone here know of any people class racing that 273 Commando 4 bbl. '65-6 Valiant station wagon combo? ;) WJ

WJ,
On the 65' and 66' Valiants
The availability on the 273/235HP Commando

1965,
V-200 (2-door sedan, 4-door sedan and convertible)
Signet (Hardtop and convertible)
Not available on the V-100 or Station wagon

1966,
V-100 (2-door sedan and 4-door sedan)
V-200 (4-door sedan)
Signet (Hardtop or convertible)
Not available on the Station wagon.

Never saw a wagon with the Commando. Did see a Ken Connely (friends with the Centolanza's) run a 1965 V-200
4-door sedan, black with a 4-speed "Prince Valiant" run in E/Stock in 1966 at Dover. Ran 14.00's @ 98 MPH
