Ed,that would be 4 hun not 4 thou.Otherwise you're correct about the spread from #1 to#16.It's usually 6-7 hundreds. I wonder if the pro stock guys come here on class racer and read some of the bull$hit contests that go on here related to S/SS.Don't think so. |
Re: Pro Stock at St. Louis
I've seen spring loaded burst panels on sheet metal intakes, mostly hemi cars. I met Mike Edwards at a test day many years ago. After each pass it was just like race day, clutch service, valve springs, plug readings, etc. Max effort all the time I was there. Get it ready for another pass. Was his crewman hiding something? I would say yes. Was it something illegal? No way. |

I wish he had a tenth or even a second. Mike is one of my favorite people on the whole planet. Just no tenths between Pro Stocks. |

Re: Pro Stock at St. Louis
It's the only pro class remotely interesting. At least they look like real cars.
Ed,you should see the East coast indoctrination system at work. Some of these kids couldn't add 2+2 without a calculator and a guidance counselor. |

That's the same policy that the Johnsons have with the Mountain View Tire Group and I understand both of those policies. |

You are right about the attitude of too many teachers-they don't care about the kids who are not going to college and even some of those who are. Of course your son Franklin is becoming an endangered species-someone who did graduate work in engineering who is not an immigrant or the child of an immigrant. Funny how the only other kid I know who has done that is the son of a drag racer too. America needs immigrants to do things that Americans consider too dirty or too hard, like picking fruit, cleaning hotel rooms, studying math, studying physics, and studying engineering. |
