These folks are just mis-wired plain and simple.

Hmmmm ? 8 years with no contact?

This would be equivalent to someone heterosexual making it 8 years with no ?Nooki? IMO

Now I guess that?s a possibility? but daaaaumm! I?d sure be trying like hell and violating that contact order trying to get some anyhoo.

Ladies and germs place your bets. 10 to 1 says he can?t make it down the home stretch. But lets pray to God that he can, because if he breaks the contact rule, the next 13 year old he?s talking to ( or shoud I say trying to rape ) on line may not be a undercover cop and the damage will be Irreversible and devastating to say the lest.

The same old story ....nothing new here, Money Talks.

I have never really spoken to Regis, only seen him at the track during the years. He seemed like a nice guy. I never had a chance to speak to him, so I am hoping that maybe he will see this message or someone could relay it to him.

Regis, I understand that you will not be spending any time in jail. I am pretty familiar with the criminal justice system and truly believe that you were successful in "buying" your way out of prison. Sure, you got some bullshyt suspended sentence, which is a joke, but that's is what your were able to slither your way into. As far as the court is concerned, you have been handed down your punishment. As far as God, former friends and the racing community is concerned...you still have not payed for your SINS my man. If you ever decide to show your face at a race track, with some bullshyt about how you did nothing wrong, I can promise you that "Racers" will not be so kind to suspend your sentence. Bottom line is you are a sick bastard who will ultimately spend the rest of your days lonely, scared and without a true friend at your side. Like others, I have no tolerance for crimes against children, so if it sounds like I have an axe to grind I sure do.

Nice to talk to you Regis,

John Maggiulli Jr.

(Can't wait for the public registry to see his Sex Offender/Megan's Law Profile)

Johnny,
Nicely put. I really feel for the fbi, state & local police because it just goes to show that even with all your "I"s dotted and "t"s crossed that money will give you a get out of jail free card.
One more thing I don't get is if he is so innocent by the courts, why make him register? Was the judge covering their ***?

Yep! couldn’t agree more. Law enforcement bust their tails and spend millions in tax payers dollars in the process of catching these folks, only for some whacko liberal judge to cut em loose in the end.

If this judge is so damn sure that that old Regis in harmless, maybe the judge should have made Regis the troop leader for his granddaughters “Brownie “ troop for a few years just to be sure.

NOT A CHANCE!

Deb,

It was probably part of the plea bargain, my guess is that is was used to satifsy (barely) public opinion of the case. It is a shame (like Debbie said) that so many work so hard to do the right thing, only to be downgraded and downgraded, merged and downgraded some more by lawyers and ultimately accepted by the court.

For those of you who would like to know where to find sex offenders in the state of Maine (maybe even Auburn as a city), I will post the website. You can google other states and find their respective websites, pretty scary who lives in our towns.

Debbie and Johnny,

When the President of the United States commutes the 2.5 year sentence of one of his aides who was found guilty by a jury of perjury and obstruction of justice, do you find anything in our "justice" system surprising? Ignore Bush's comment about the sentence being excessive because it was well within the Federal government's sentencing guidelines. Remember that not even Nixon pardoned or commuted the sentences of any of the people involved in Watergate. On the other hand, President Ford's pardoning of Nixon was absolutely necessary to avoid the turmoil that this country would have gone through if an ex-president was on trial.

The rotten thing about Bush's pardon is that future Presidents will use it as a precedent to let their aides off when they get in trouble. Presidential aides will never tell the truth before a jury or a grand jury because they will expect to be let off the hook if caught for lying.

As for Regis, in New England in the early days people convicted of crimes were put in stocks in the public square for all to see. The fact that Regis got no time is an outrage, but the fact that we all know what he was convicted of and he in essence has been put in stocks in the public square for all to see is at least a form of early New England justice.

I think Johnny Maggiulli said what we all feel so my comment will be short and sweet

Regis,

DO NOT show your face at a racetrack for the rest of your lonely life!
