Re: NMCA Good OR BAD ?
Larry, the stickers do have to be in certain area for contengencie( ?) money. Have been going to several of their races for the past few years and they run as good a show as you would ever want. they have several class' that your hot rod could fit in. So check it out, however this weekend in Bowling Green is setting up to be a wash out based on the coming weather.

Re: NMCA Good OR BAD ?
In the '60's and through the '70's I raced 4 speed Mopars with a slick shifted 883 with no electronics and never broke anything except rearends (8 3/4's) It was the best racing I have ever done.
I've raced with the NMCA guy's and what a great bunch. The racing is fun the people are great and there is good competition. Doug's father, Dave, talked me into it and I wish I could thank him! You'll have a good time, larry! |

Eddie Rezac.... wow....
If not for you, and all your records in National Dragster, I'd never have known where WAHOO, NEBRASKA was!!! Seemed like you always held the record in whatever class you ran.... impressive!!! It's great to see you on the board; now I'm not the oldest guy here (70 last Dec. 20.) Don't be a stranger; you have a WEALTH of stories... I'm sure. I lived in Des Moines from '64 to '80, so I saw you race a lot... Anyway, welcome to this board; it's a world apart... lol! Bill |

Re: NMCA Good OR BAD ?
It sounds like a good time, but it is just a bracket race. Why drive hunderes of miles to go to a bracket race when there are local tracks for footbrake and no electronic racing , and S/SS races where we can run'em like we do in the NHRA and IHRA. What is different about this racing than everything else? Racing against old cars with 500 inch engines and dual quads? Whats makes it better? Can anyone explain this to me?
