So every Cylinder was .003 too big on the stroke??? Seems maybe they needed to pull a head and check again. .003 could have Been worn bearings. Nhra has some really exact measuring stuff --- no glue on the deck when they put the dial indicator on the deck surface nothing like that huh? Hell A Dollar bill is .003?? I know rules are rules but maybe the tech guy just "isn't that good a machinist" Fed 387

I was in Phoenix many years ago and watched a guy trying to measure stroke on a stocker with a head off using a caliper, and getting. 1/2" more stroke than he should have.
He must've figured it out eventually as the competitor passed. |

Ya I know but wow less than .49 inches total. Your right it's not in the acceptable range. All because of 3 thou. Now is this cheating or just an honest mistake I know it makes no difference but by a hair.

What gives in the race between Jimmy Hildago and Mike Cotton in rd 3 of stock.It showed Mike going red to Jimmy , but rd 4 has Mike in it.Did something happen to Jimmy?
