I know a lot of combat vets in the oil field, they moved on and living good lives and are 100% Trump supporters. Have family members including a son, that served and never took a dime from the tax payer after they served, seems like you got a hell of a racket going on.

This not about scamming the government, this is about keeping the promise this nation made to its Veterans and their family. I am currently a Service Officer for DAV. I have been a Nevada Veterans Advocate and a Service Officer for the American Legion. All this I have done for free for the last 20 years as a volunteer. I have assisted Veteran serving in WW2, Korean War, Vietnam and Middle East conflicts. You don’t need to be in combat to rate a service connected disability, example: Camp Lejeune, Blue Water Navy, Burn pits, fire-fighting foam, the list goes on and on and paper cuts aren't one of the unless you lost a finger. Don't attempt to rebutt this it just makes you sound naive and it just insults those that served.

Not good news for my friends in Iowa.
John Deere announces mass layoffs in Midwest amid production shift to Mexico
Over 600 production staff at plants in Illinois and Iowa are being let go this summer.
Union jobs going to Mexico.

Hi Gary. I did find the move to Mexico is only a proposed one. Right now, thy are just cutting because sales have fallen. Let's hope that true. But in another printing, it sounded firmer.
"He said he believes John Deere sees Mexico as a cheap source of labor with the added benefit that it can import steel there for much cheaper and sell products built with that steel back to the American market".
We were lucky we were in the food processing industry. Breakfast Cereal. The filth that Mexico has in its facility's was not acceptable, no matter what the cost advantage.

The article I read was 2 hours old. John Deere is laying off and moving some production to Mexico. Also noted that Deere and Ford wanted similar moves to Mexico 4 years ago. Trump talked them out of the moves. Biden hasn't tried to stop the. Also, typical bantering...."Deere is Greed" stuff. Unfortunate that more people do not understand capitalism.

Having subjected to this business decision with GE Engine Services in 1999. Our cost of labor was $70 per hour with customer cost $90, giving GE $20 profit. Our sister plants in Brazil labor $25 per hour and Scotland was $45. GE made a decision to layoff 400 plus employees and move the plant to China where cost of labor was $15 per hour. Cost to customer remained $90, now that is capitalism at its best. It all worked out for me, found employment within days. I did keep my GE stock and it split.

Heard a great "jobs report" though. It seems that the vast majority of jobs "created" by old Beijing Joe Biden went to................illegal aliens.

Most of those jobs went to Union construction workers, try to keep up!

Labor Force Participation Was Stronger Under Trump. The labor force participation rate remains 0.7 percentage points lower under Biden than it was when President Trump was in office. When adjusting for population gains, nearly 2 million more Americans are on the sidelines today than they were during the previous Administration.
Wages Are Not Keeping up with Biden?s Inflation Crisis. Real wages are down over 5 percent since President Biden entered the Oval Office.
Inflation Still Shows No Signs of Slowing Down. Americans are still feeling the sting of this inflation crisis?prices are up 15.3 percent under Biden. Inflation remains over three times higher than just a couple years ago.
The Bottom Line: A closer look at the May jobs report shows a deteriorating labor market. It is misleading at best for the President to claim his Administration is setting records with his economic agenda.

The good old USA has more oil and gas then any country in the world, we could be energy independent with Trump, the commie Demrats don't want that. Trump 2024 and watch the change almost

overnight. Now the leaches may loose money on that. If
Trump is President John Deere Tractors made in Mexico will cost more then Farmers will pay, they will move back. And the tractors will cost less and farmers will buy, and John Deere will make money.

Unfortunately the quality isn?t there like before. You?re better off buying the Mahindra for thousands less and better mostly same parts! Trust me I?m a John Deere born and raised but they aren?t parts made here anymore.
Money goes to the top, not back into developing like before American made..

He says they are fantastic workers, cause no problems, pay taxes and show every single day he asks. The only "Americans" he has working for him are in the front office. Do I agree with that? I hate it. But he says they're the only ones that will work. And he speaks VERY highly of them. Their good people. Most people don't realize the illegals pay taxes. The "Dreamers", the kids that were brought over here illegally and grew up here.... are now Doctors, and Lawyers, and Janitors and everything else we can imagine, but are not US legal citizens. (and can't vote) You know why? There is absolutely no legal path for the Dreamers to get citizenship. Is that nuts or what? It's been a big standoff for decades and the Republicans won't budge. As far as the Republicans are concerned, send them back. These now adults don't even speak the language of Mexico. At least many of them don't.
I don't know much but immigration it's a DEEP subject. Lots of people do a lot of talking and don't have a clue what their talking about. And the politicians, all of them, do a horrible job of explaining. I know this group is going to come on here and bash. We all know the horror stories. The murders and such. But next time you see Johnny at the races, ask him about his workforce. He has ACTUALLY been around them

My Brother in Law and nephews have big farms in NC and they have Latinos picking crops, two guys weren't doing **** and my B I L told the boss he didn't want those two back tomorrow, boss said if they don't come back nobody comes back. Latinos in all the trades stick together like glue, you play there game or you don't play.
IMO it was Reagan's amnesty that screwed the labor market, before that they were seasonal workers and were identified as wetbacks!

Some of the best businesses out here have a mixed Latino workforce that is very dedicated. Most are family members and Yes there are many mixed races too. When there is a bad seed introduced they take care of it themselves. The American workforce figured out what administration gave them a check while sitting on thier can!
