Well, I've been going to drag races since 1955, and I have never, EVER, seen a "HEADS-UP" race with a handicap... In fact, the two terms are contradictory.

A "HEADS UP" race is ALWAYS where two cars leave the starting line at the same time.

Indexes and dial-ins have NEVER been a part of the "HEADS UP" vernacular...
