As the topic says "Keep Working on Your Stuff" would fall into the guy who is trying to run on a budget,or as we are doing trying to get back into the swing of things before dumping tons of $$$ into our combination. 4 and 3 years ago we could barely run the G/SA 12.00 index. We finally blew that engine at 6500 rpm's and decided to build my own engine. Last year we had a best of 11.292 at 115 mph on our own engine. CP Pistons,Total Seal Rings,Bullet Cam and several other pieces. This year we made a cpl subtle changes, can't change many without testing each change. Hopefully we can pickup at least 1 to 2 tenths by the end of the year which will get us to 11.10s. We will keep working on our stuff till there's no more that I can do myself but for now it nice to know I can build a 255hp 350 that will run 7 plus under the index for under 5 grand.

Sometimes the dyno is the best place to spend. It will be your report card and road map.

I was at the dyno last week, showed improvement, made some changes, and going back next week for some more pulls.

Yes it does!! And I like it !! I started this project in 1981, to stubborn to give up on it, (admitting I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer) , I will keep plugging away , looking for a tidbit here and a crumb there.

Enjoy the Holidays , 2020 is just around the corner..

Good for you G, I know with your combination you have to work hard. Can't go out and buy go fast parts and bolt them on. I am in the same situation, working full time, travel with work, and working on customers stuff before the race car. But I am going to keep working just like you. Good luck this coming year.
